  1. Hola Dianne,

I would like to start off by saying you are a wonderful writer. I throughly enjoyed reading your blog about my establishment.

Secondly, would like to thank you for your kind, and supportive words to describe me, my cafe and B&B. The blog was wonderful and I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

The only thing I would comment on is the sirloin burger. It is costly at $150 however it is not just an ordinary beef burger. It is made to order, stuffed with onions, mushrooms, jalapenos and blue cheese. Served in a Molika Ciabatta bun with homemade chipotle aioli and topped off with caramelized onions and portobello mushrooms. Plus served with a side. It's actually been my biggest seller and requested to be on the menu more often.

I thought your blog was beautifully written and I could not be more thankful for such kind words so again thank you for writing about me, for your husband and son joining you for lunch, and just all your positive feedback. This sunday I served over 80 people, and sadly had two employees not show due to being in a car accident. It was an insane day, and I would never have imagined I would be this busy this soon in the game. I am on a mission to hire people now so wait times will be shorter as I am a solo cook and as all the feed back has been so positive from everyone, would hate to see my fall back me that the food is great but takes too long. Being a solo cook is not an easy job especially cooking for a full house. If you happen to know any dependable people looking for work send them my way, they just need transportation.

Thanks again and have a beautiful day!

    Kindly,

    Leanne

  2. Oh, Leanne, I am soooo sorry to hear about the car accident! I do hope your employees will be ok.

I am happy to hear you had 80 people show up, but so sorry to hear that it came so quickly in the game and overwhelmed you. Boo! There are several cooking schools in town; have you put the job announcement out there? I have shared your need with a couple kids of friends of ours who have graduated with culinary degrees. I hope they will stop in. I'm sure you need wait staff, too.

Good luck! It's a terrific place. And I can imagine the sirloin burger is your best seller, lol. Have a great one and I hope to see you again soon! I will keep hoping for that perfect balance of popularity but not too much :D
