Deer Dances in Las Labradas on the Spring Equinox

Thank you for following VidaMaz all this time. We have now moved over to WordPress, primarily because we want to use just one interface for work and family/personal. Please join us in the new location:

In that new location, if you notice a post that hasn't made the transfer intact, something missing or in need of correction, please let us know!

  1. Thank you for explaining the rituals. We went this year and fully enjoyed every moment. We also watched dancers, who wore headdresses with feathers, and performed rituals as well. Maybe they were the Huichol and Tepehuan natives.

  2. So glad you were able to attend this year's events, Anonymous! We unfortunately had to work. But someone's gotta do that, too, right? Was there no one there explaining things? That sure would seem to be a wonderful service the Tourism Board could provide in the future, or a terrific social service/practice activity for the university students studying Tourism. If you took photos we here would love to see them! Please post a url. Thank you!

Thank you for sharing with us what you think!
